Peter tells us in these verses that we are to show hospitality to one another and serve one another without grumbling, to be good stewards of God’s grace toward us. Those words stopped me in my tracks… stewards of God’s varied grace… Wow!

As stewards of God’s grace, we can show hospitality and serve others. The goal? God’s glory, not our own.

Why not take cookies to a new neighbor, invite someone you don’t know well over for coffee or her whole family for a simple dinner of soup and bread?

Ask the Lord for strength and wisdom, and serve according to His leading.

Sister, by the power of the Holy Spirit, you can practice an attitude of hospitality shining God’s light to the world around you! Won’t you ask Him to show you where to begin?
