Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!
Psalm 46:10 (ESV)

Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” Psalm 46:10 (ESV) We can be still, because He is in charge!

Would you say that you are in control of yourself and your family? We like to think we can run our own lives, but this verse reminds us clearly that God is the One in charge!

The Psalmist tells us to take time to be still and praise God, who is the supreme authority.

The word
exalt in Hebrew means ‘to be lifted high’. God says that He will be lifted high over the whole world; He will subdue all hearts no matter how evil, to Himself!

As we remember what God has done in the past and see the way He is working in our lives right now, may we take the time to be still before Him and adore Him as He deserves, never forgetting His love and grace toward us.

Let’s acknowledge that He is God, and choose to live a life that honors Him and spreads His joy to others!
